I am VERY pleased with VK. I have been here for a year and 3 months. I am not sure what all of the complaining is about, but I think it is only due to the fact that those tenants have done something wrong in the past and have been reprimanded for it and that is why they dislike VK. If I ever had any problems, the maintenance staff always came out to help and fixed the problem immediately and effectively. I have a very large dog and manage to pick up the LARGE PILE of diamonds on the ground, I think you all that have small/medium dogs should appreciate that your diamond pile is what it is and pick it up. I would not be able to let mine lying around, because it would be obvious who it belonged to. I visit the office staff at least once a week with my dog and they are very pleasant and helpful with anything that concerns me or my apartment status. I truly believe that if you are a respectful tenant, VK will take VERY good care of you. As for the people who dislike VK, I believe you have either done something to make VK reprimand you or you just do not know how to treat anyone with respect. I 100% would recommend this apartment complex to anyone, because the maintenance staff is very efficient, quick to respond to any concern, out early in the morning to remove snow so that WE ARE ABLE TO GET TO WORK, trustworthy in my apartment without my observation and overall a very friendly staff of maintenance guys. Village Knoll will treat you well if you treat them with respect and show them some adult responsibility.

Please read the response to the first posting on 3/30/09. The management has being calling tenants and asking them to put postive responses on this website to counter the negative ones. One of those people however did not agree with them. Also, as far as snow removal is concerned that is totally inaccurate. It takes them days to clear the sidewalks of ice and they don't do much better in the parking lots. Don't get me wrong I believe that the maintenance crew is very nice and will respond to complaints promptly. I just think they might be understaffed or the management doesn't allocate enough resources for them to get the job done. I would also be very skeptical of any positive comment made.

lindsayfrenz either is, works for or is protecting the manager - diane. what a shame!! she is so underhanded that she has to get people to write on here to cover up her evil ways. i wonder how she has any time to answer calls from her tenants?!! - oh wait - she never answers calls from tenants! i say that everyone should call the health department when they have problems like brown water!! maybe we should call anyway to make sure the water is safe. sure - they say it is city water - but there may be holes in the water lines or something worse.

Okay anonymous. See my username? I don't work at the office, I have no reason to post. I'm appalled by all the negative press, which is why I posted. Thats my real name, I have nothing to hide. It's ashame that nice places like where I live get bad press. The people who are posting feel the same way I do. We have pet parties, drawings for money off our rent, a doggie treat bar, and a nice updated place to live, with wonderful quiet neighbors. What the heck is there to complain about?
