I recently got word of all the negative hype about village know and recently found that the tennis court had been locked due to one residents false concerns it was unsafe. So, I would like to set the record straight.
I have been living here @ Village Knoll for approximately 6 months. I am in no way an apartment person, but of all the apartments I have lived in through college and there after this is my favorite.
The landscaping is well kept, lights are prevalent throughout the complex and the neighbors are friendly and quiet.
At many other complexes I have not had the greatest experiences with maintenance, however here I have found them to be thorough and attentive to my needs.
I also want to speak on behalf of the dog droppings and tennis courts - Pet owners need to be responsible, this includes cleaning up after their pets and providing proper supervision when off the leash on the courts. My dog and I play several times per week on the tennis courts, he loves playing fetch and I have not had even ONE problem with this. He doesn't chew on plants growing around the fence both because he is well trained and I pay attention to what he is doing at all times. It's true the fence isn't in the greatest condition but the gate shuts and there are no openings around the perimeter. Few people play tennis on the courts and as of right now there is no net in place, I suspect later this spring one will be installed for those who wish to play. Yes there is a pile of dirt in one corner (small in comparison to the size of the court) but all residents have been notified about it and the reason it has been temporarily placed there.
So, there you have it - Well kept exterior, attentive maintenance crew, reasonable rent, friendly neighbor, peace and quiet in the evening and a reasonable area to let your pets off the leash to play.
As for the previous individuals who negatively rated Village Knoll, I would have to speculate they may have had a bitter experience and in turn are out to cause damage to Village Knoll's name, or maybe they were held responsible for their actions and were not happy about it. Either way I do not feel they're comments are justified or accurate. Village Knoll is a nice place to live and I would recommend it to anyone of my friends or family.
