Thank god we are moving. Out of all of the apartment complexes we've lived, this is definitely not an "upscale" complex. The worst mgmt I've encountered.

Make sure you don't have kids here either. The manager takes it on herself to yell at them for stupid stuff. Listen, if you have a problem with a child, take it up with the parents. You talk to my child again without my permission and it is the last thing you will do.

One review about the maintenance is true. Crap doesn't get fixed. Of course they come to attempt to fix it, but the next day, guess what, it is worse than when they left. An upscale complex would have a handyman who wasn't clueless and could fix it right the first time.

I currently am a tenant at The Village of Laurel Ridge (formally Pheasant Ridge). I have been living here for a little over 4 months now and I am having the worst experience for what is suppose to be an upscale apartment community. My windows are leaking air (badly) and I was told by management to put plastic over them. Plastic??!! I am paying over $700/month for a one bedroom! Then there is the issues with the fleas. I do not own a pet, but somehow I got fleas in my apartment. The maintenance is very good on doing a follow up, but nothing ever really gets fixed. I cannot wait until I can give my 60 day notice to get out of here.
