I have been living here for 3 years now and a year ago I would have not recommended this place to anyone. What most of the other residents do not know is that this place was so bad because the property manager was a criminal herself. She let just about anyone live here without doing criminal checks or anything, she stole resident's money, she never did anything for the complex because she didn't care. Now, there is new management and new maintenance and this place is much, much better. I have noticed that with as bad as this place was before, the new management cares much more about our quality of living. The outside is prettier, maintenance always gets to issues as soon as they can, pest control comes through now and that is not even a problem anymore, management is very nice and they will do anything they can to meet resident's needs. Most of the "problem residents" are out of here now because they were all thrown out when new management had to clean up after the old management. To sum it up, these apartments are very nice and very spacey and cheap. With as much as the management has done to make this a better place to live, I know they care. Please disregard those other reviews because really this is a great place to live and once again, this is coming from someone who was just as appalled to live here a year ago. The only reason why I stayed was because of the fact that it is very close to my job, inexpensive, and the apartments are very nice and I would most certainly stay now. So yes, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone when I wouldn't have a year ago.

This review is bogus and had to have been written by the new managers who took over after Audrey. They are not helpful and are quite rude when you ask them for assistance with any small task. For example, my husband and I had asked how to make sure that we received all of our deposit back upon moving out and Marcia the head manager advised us that no matter what there would be a charge to have the carpets cleaned if we did not have them cleaned professionaly and were able to prove it. We advised that our carpets were not new nor were they cleaned before moving in and she again stated that we will need to have them cleaned and provide documentation proving so. This issue may not sound very important but when she is trying to charge a $200 cleaning fee and charge for carpet cleaning... I think people should know not to rent from Whisperwoods. Renters beware!!! I can't wait to get out of here!!
