As others have stated the walls are paper thin...you can hear people using their bathroom next to you.

They put cable outlets in rediculous places, i.e. the closet.

They don't allow dogs period! Even if someone who owns the dog is merely visiting, not allowed.

There are no assigned parking spots and no one keeps on top of visitors that in residents lots instead of the visitor lot. So if someone is having a people over you'll have to park in visitor parking or in front of the dumpsters.

They don't keep on top of cleaning out their gutters to ensure water doesn't poor over the side onto what is below.

You have no control over lights on exterior doors.

The heating/cooling vent in the bedroom ceiling is pointless because nothing comes out of it even when it's completely open. The heating/cooling system is so undersized that if you want to be comfortable it runs almost continuously.

No washer and dryer in the one bedroom units. They have a laundromat that is free to residents, but the foreigners that live there are loud and seem to think doing the laundry is a family outing.

The flooring is wood and it creeks everywhere. No matter how quiet you try to be it's impossible on those floors.

The front door deadbolts have to be lined up just right or they won't lock...so if the weather causes the door to swell enjoy fighting to lock it. That is the only lock.

Wow, your complaints are really minor. If those are the only problems you encounter, you're lucky. Have you read these other reviews? Come on! No dogs allowed? Duh. Not only do they tell you that when you sign your lease, it's listed everywhere in the company info. I'm sure you were informed of this before you moved in. Why can't people leave their dogs at home if they're just visiting? Free Laundry? That's pretty nice. I have lived in many apartments and have NEVER been given free laundry. As for the cable, at least you HAVE outlets in all the bedrooms. The last place I lived didn't have it but in one room. I am a resident and know that they take really good care of you at Williamsburg. Just this morning they handed out free Subway lunches to us as we left the complex to go to work. No real reason. Just as a "thank you" for living here, they told me. The office staff is always VERY friendly and accommodating, and maintenance is awesome. The other reviews of Williamsburg Estates are, for the most part, accurate. You sound like a person who is never pleased no matter what is done. Go live at a different place, and see if it compares. I dare you to find a better deal or better service. Good luck with that. I've lived at other communities in this city. You will need it.

Wow, you sound like one of those folks who no one (I mean no one) ever can get along with. I am sure you know what I mean. And whats up with the "foreigner" reference? I lived here for 2 years with my fiance and only left because our time in H'burg came to an end and we had to move to california. I will not over state what has already been said. You will not find a better place in Harrisburg. They even put us up in a hotel one HOT summer night when our A/C was broken and they could not get it fixed all day. Now tell me who else will do this? Anyway. I think the reviews here are dead-on.
