No problems that could have been prevented.

Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2004
I lived at Village Green for four years in the 'O' building, and would consider moving back if I were living in that area.
The neighbors were quiet and kept to themselves; maintenance staff were helpful; the site manager was sweet and helpful. There were never any bugs (which would have been a HUGE problem for me).
The only problem we had was flooding due to Tropical Storm Allison in 2001. The complex is next to a creek which occasionally floods over it's banks, but nowhere near the buildings. The area got an unheard-of amount of rain in a short period of time and it flooded half of the complex. We were displaced from our apartment for over a month while they repaired the basement. Three of the buildings were destroyed in an explosion caused by a gas line that had been dislodged in the flood and six people were killed. Scully Company was very helpful during this time, and FEMA was called in to give aid if you needed money for alternate housing.
It was creepy for a while afterwards passing the empty lot where the buildings had been - I believe that now it is just a landscaped lot.
The only concern I would have is the flooding, but I believe that someone (the complex or the township') did something about the drainage since the flood. Buildings at the back of the complex sit on higher ground - move back there if you can.
