nice place to live

Years at this apartment: 2009 - 2009
I lived here for 9 months and wished I could stay longer (I was a student and the rent was too high for me to keep paying - $895mon for a 1-bedroom w/ a short term lease). The grounds and apartments are absolutely lovely. The parking can be annoying if you have more than one car (one numbered space allotted per apt) but normally you can find a fairly close spot. Although I do not have kids I think it would be a great place for them, as I always saw packs of kids playing on the playground and in the parking lot. The apartments are very quiet. I could only hear my across the hall neighbors through the door but they were only occasionally loud. Everyone was very friendly there in the buildings and the staff. Lee the manager is very nice but I sometimes had problems getting maintenance taken care of right away unless I showed up in person. When I did they took care of my stopped sink on Christmas Eve day. There are no pet fees which is nice since I had a cat and you only pay electric (about $30 a month). I loved the location - being close to Hatboro, the train station, schools, my job, etc. This was my first apt and I am probably ruined for other apts now.
