Mostly elderly people. Landlord is very nice and will work with you if you have problems paying your rent. Apartments are big and maintenance responds quickly. Some of, if not the cheapest apartments in Havertown. Heat and hot water included. Each apartment has it's own thermostat. Dishwasher and disposal. Large kitchen. Hardwood floors.

That said, here is the downside.

Office hours aren't very convenient. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 9-2. Closed Weds. Some of the elderly people are nosy and some are nasty. Low tolerance for any kind of noise, even just letting the outside doors close by themselves as they tend to slam shut. Maintenance man is very nosy and gossipy, seems to think he runs the place because he's been here so many years. Runs to the landlord with every little thing. If he doesn't like you, you're not well treated. If you don't answer the door the second time he knocks, he lets himself in and usually without any prior notice that he's coming. Old plumbing that constantly leaks and needs repairing. My bathroom floor was leaking into the apartment below us when we took showers, instead of them caulking the floor, we were told to get a second shower curtain and the maintenance man came over every day to check that we had one til we got one. Rent goes up every year. My $810 rent was raised to $840 when my lease was renewed.
