I lived at Wyndmoor apartments for one year and had to move out because the place was so horrible. I had to threaten small claims court and also threaten to call the health and safety codes offices of Haverford township because of how the managment handled some of my problems. I am an elderly woman who needed a new air conditioner because the one I had was smoking and ready to catch on fire and the managment office told me that I needed a doctors note to get a new air conditioner. Another problem I had was that my nighbors were smoking pot almost 24/7 so I called the managment office hoping they could help me out and to tell them to stop because my apartment was starting to smell really bad from it. They told me there is nothing they can do and if they did do something they were going to tell the smokers who called and complained about them. The managment office does not care about any of their tenants and when I moved out they tried to keep some of my security deposit for "painting" and I threatened to take them to small calims court because they can not withold money from me for somthing they have to do when some one moves out. If you live there and want the mamagment to fix something for you then threaten to go to Haverford health and safety codes office to report them. The mamagment will be more than happy to help you with your problem then. I wouldn't rent an apartment from ARO, save your self from a big headache!
