I was happy with my experience at Briarcrest. I feel the rent is relatively decent, especially considering the difficulty of finding affordable 3 bedroom townhouses in the Hershey area. Although there are a lot of units there, I never had problems with my neighbors. The maintanence staff kept the area nice and they were quick to repair anything you needed to have fixed, especially since the units are fairly old. The pet policy was a bonus, especially considering the fact that a lot of places refuse to allow pets. The pool was well maintained and had a nice community atmosphere.

The only thing negative I could mention is the Derry Twp. tax, which is something that Briarcrest has no control over. If you break it down, it's an extra $37.50 a month on top of other expenses.

I will be moving on to a larger townhouse, but I would definitely recommend Briarcrest, especially for the newly divorced who are looking to get back onto their feet.
