Nice place to live

I lived here for almost two years, and it was great. Tenants are a mix of retirees, medical residents, and families, and tend to be friendly.
The place was quiet, except for initially, when my upstairs neighbor would play his music with the sound blaring. Management dealt with that satisfactorily.
Repairs were infrequently required, and always carried out promptly and correctly. Maintenance and office staff were both very friendly, and willing to work with tenants.
Maintenance workers and retirees both work on keeping the grounds clean, and tenants are encouraged to individualize the gardens.
Pets are encouraged, especially dogs (the manager has pictures of tenants' dogs in her office).
The addition of a weight machine and several other pieces of exercise equipment this past year was a welcome addition.
Rent increased minimally year to year.
The addition of gas heat greatly reduced my utility bills.
The neighborhood seems very safe, between houses on either side. There is an ice cream shop, a grocery store, and a running/bicycling track within easy walking distance.
The only downside was the lack of outside ventilation for the full size washer and dryer set. The lint was directed to a second, external lint trap, which must be emptied from time to time along with the usual lint trap.
The rent was very reasonable for a roomy 2 bedrooom 2 bathroom, compared to other places in the area.
Great place!
