Holliday Reality is the company I know at 316 Newry St. They own the Jackson Inn and rentals throughout Hollidaysburg and in the Apple Orchard. They charge over market price for apartments that are not worth it. During my stay at the Jackson Inn I could not control my own heat during the cold winter and was woken by rodents (squirrels maybe) running inside the walls in the morning and night. I asked to have the apartment cleaned before I moved in, it was filthy. It was not cleaned. I cleaned it myself, and when I moved out they had the nerve to charge me an extra fee to reclean the unit. I then unfortunately rented another unit from them in the development behind the Jackson Inn. Even though you live in a field there is no peace here. You will hear everything your neighbor does. There is no insulation in these units. And if you have a problem, forget Holliday Reality they are of no help to the tenant, all they want is their over priced rent check. It s a shame. They are going to drive good people away from the charming town of Hollidaysburg.

I agree with everything you said! I also rented from Holliday and it was over priced and dirty. They kept my security because they said it needed the carpet clean and walls painted. This is especially funny because @ the time of my lease with them, I worked out of town 3-4 months @ a time. That year I rented from them i was home a total of 2 and a half months. No pets and no smoking and no shoes were allowed in my place. I was told by them that the unit was filthy. I took pictures before and after i moved in. When i wanted to show them the pictures they weren't interested. Why? because before i moved in i cleaned for a few days, because it was disgusting. It is a shame that this person controls half of Hollidaysburg and can over charge at will. And really you have no choice unles u want to move to Altoona.

They did the same thing to me and charged me 160 and said we didnt clean, when we cleaned for 2 days. They are crooks ! Hollidaysburg will go down hill as long as Holliday Real Estate stays there
