Management and maintenance at hershey heights is horrible. We were given incorrect information several times about fees. We could never get a straight answer. I'm pretty sure that with these low interest rates they are trying to squeeze every penny they can out of people. Why rent when you can buy a nice house for the same amount of money'' Someone said they were happy they got interest back on their down payment, guess what, they have to do that. The interest you get back is minimal mine was exactly 0.3%, I know how low rates are, but that is a joke. I wasn't given the preffered employer discount when I applied either. Maintenance is a joke at this place, it's fine if you enjoy shoveling snow off the entire lot. 2 years ago a neighbor had to call in a friend with a snow plow to clear our parking lot. Maintenance came 2 days after the store, yet the rental office was cleaned the day of. I've liven in some pretty bad apartments in my college days, but the operations here are far worse. The utility bills are very high, and do not live in a lower level apartment, you will hear everything from you upstairs neighbors. The lifeguard situation at the pool is also a complete joke. If you require a lifeguard, have one there. I just moved to this area when I moved in and it was the biggest mistake I've made over the past 2 years. I'm pretty sure the 5.0 ratings are being written by employees. Stay away from Hershey Heights.
