We have only been here for about a year and a half, worst choice in our lives. First off all the staff are rude and very un professional. All of the girls at the office got their jobs for one reason, because they are "pretty" (not really). The maintenance suck!! 2 months after moving in (Oct) we tried turning on the heat in the bathroom and bedroom and it didn't work, so they sent someone up a couple days later. He couldn't figure it out so someone else came up and they couldn't figure it out. They finally called an electrician. They figured out a wire must have got messed up so they had to run new wires from the breaker box. They had to cut 5 holes in the closet where the breaker box is and one in our bedroom. I was told that it would be fixed soon. The heat works but they smell horrible when on. No one came to fix the holes for 2 months, so I called down a guy came up and looked at it and said he would fix it (Dec) right after New Years. NOPE called in March still nothing now it is a year and 4 months with holes in our ceilings in which you can see the outside concrete walls!!!!! You can feel the wind blowing. The windows suck the first big storm we had there was water pouring in the "new" windows, again I called down but they didn't care so I had to fix it myself. One of our electric outlets in the bedroom was leaking fish smelling black ooze for over a month. The a/c are older then me and you can feel the winter air blowing in if you don't cover it. You can see the studs through the wall I am thinking that they are all mold and are starting to come through the drywall! Our water heater broke and leaked into the hallway for over a week and made the wood under the carpet come up. It took them over a week to come fix it then another week to get a carpet cleaner here, they still haven't the wooden floor board sticking up (this caused the carpet to rip). Now onto the people, there have been so many people in and out in just over a year. There has been a family with 3 kids in a 2 bedroom apt that always fought the guy beat her they always were screaming at the kids, the guy broke the tail lights on his girlfriends car, smashed her windows, burned upside down crosses in the hallways wrote things about people with ashes on doors and punched walls. Another couple across from me always fought threw clothes and furniture into the halls and down the stairs many times. They also had loud parties late late at night. many people in my building have animals, we are in a no animal building!!! I am allergic to cats and I sneeze my head off all the time. When we first moved in there was a creepy old man that lived here and always sat out front and stared at you as you came in and asked for food. People below us watch movies with their stereo on 100 I fell like I am at the Science Center watching an IMAX movie. One other guy always makes fires out front and gets drunk and screams almost every summer night! It is not very pleasant to wake up with your room full of smoke and smell. The parking is horrible no one park correct so many times I have had to park in the mud and grass. The people here speed in and out almost hitting you. Garbage is horrible there is always bottles and papers blowing around and hundreds of cigarette butts in the yard and parking lot.
In the first month of living here my car was broken into along with 4 other cars. Laundry is a ripoff it is so expensive and the dryers do not work at all you have to run the dryer twice to get your clothes dry.
OK last thing we were paying $408 a month and weren't looking to extend our lease at the start but we haven't found a place to move yet so we were going to sign the lease for another 6 mos or a month to month but........... if we signed for another 6 mos they wanted $556 a month!!!!!!!!! that is $148 a month more then what we were paying what a joke! This place sucks don't move here we have hated it so much and cant wait to get out, we are trying to move asap! I hate this place!!!

I used to live in Hardwick and everything this reviewer is saying is very true. The lack of parking, or even lines in the lots made it impossible for anyone to park adequately as everyone seemed to park 4 feet away from other cars, so naturally most cars wouldn't fit. There were many times I parked in the grass in the mud. If there's ever a problem, one can expect to wait days, or even weeks to have it taken care of. The women in the office were pretty much clueless and leaves one with the sense that they really don't care and are just clock-watching until they have to leave. I used to dread having to call for any reason in the 2 years that I lived there.
I would call the police if you see anyone making fires, though. When i lived there, we had a woman who was drunk constantly who drove up teh driveway and hit a boulder on the side but kept trying to drive anyway, not seeing that her vehicle was stuck on the large boulder. And this was 4:00pm on a weekday, so needless to say, I was afraid to have my children outside in case the drunk-driving lady would hit someone. Many people had pets in our non-pet building and I was allergic. Not to mention the people smoking in the hallways.
To this reviewer, check for apts in the Irwin area so you don't have to waste anymore time living there. There are many duplexes and houses that are available for rent right now.

I have not experienced as many problems as the first tenant or the latter above, yes sometimes my maintenance issues arent dealt with the very day I call them in and my neighbors are sometimes noisy, but not every place is perfect, nor are the tenants within. The management, though it may have control over the inital approval or denial of residents, does not have control over the behavior of the tennants and must go through a rigorous and tedious eviction process for the removal of insubordinate residents. With regard to the management staff, I have never at any point have been made to feel unwelcome in the rental office, nor do I believe the women working there are clueless. As someone who deals with the general public as part of her career, It takes someone with a clue to deal with hundreds of people that have hundreds of individual needs that they feel need to be dealt with before everyone else's. It is a difficult job that tests anyone's patience.

I have since moved out life is so much better!!! i dont wake up in the middle of the night and every morning sneezing my head off b/c of the mold growing in the walls!!! Here is an example of how horrible the mgmt is I went to hand in my keys when I was all moved out and all the guy said was what apt and did you leave your forwarding address with us?! He didnt ask about the laundry or gym card the mail key or anything else. It says in the lease they are to do a "walk through" with you and he didnt metion anything about it. I have learned my lesson and hope anyone who reads this will think twince and hopefully find somewhere else to live.
