This was the worst living experience I've ever had. My first year I lived in the Estate building, and it wasn't that bad. The walls were thin and I could here just about everything going on next door (and I mean everything). The heat and air conditioning systems take forever to kick in between seasons, which makes for an unbarably hot beginning of summer, and a very cold beginning to winter. I didn't think it could get much worse, but due to a lack of available two bedroom apartments, I had to move into the Manor building. This was HORRIBLE!!! There is an Asian restaurant on the bottom floor, and it smells absolutely terrible! I feel sorry for anyone who lives or has ever lived directly above it. This place is dirty! I must have lived next door to some college students, and someone vomited out of the window...it remained on the lower window until it just wore off. No one ever cleaned it! In the summer, the swimming pool was a joke. The bottom surface cut and scratched my feet, as if they never repaired the chipped paint. There were empty paint cans for children to play with at the pool, and the staff members were never on time to lifeguard, or open the gym, so your swim or work out depends on whenever the hell these lazy people decide to come to work. The gym never has any water or paper towels to wipe off the equepment, and the water they put in the water dispesor is nasty tap water. These apartments are definitely not worth what they charge. I could go on, but I think you get the message (at least I hope you do). If you have any self respect, do not move into this place. As for me, my lease has ended, and I am free at last, free at last!
