If you are looking for a dilapidated building with apathetic management, then this is the place to call home. Otherwise, JUST SAY NO! The parking deck is a nightmare and the parking areas are strewn with trash and are poorly lit, if lit at all. Hot water is a luxury (ice cold shower just this morning). And the same goes for cold air (be sure to invest in window fans to bypass a heat stroke). The ceiling on the 12th floor leaks (and has for at least the last five years) so expect to navigate a mine field of soggy, smelly, crumbled ceiling tiles that remain in the hallway for days to weeks on end. Oddly, there was recently a steady stream of water coming from the ceiling in the basement right by the entrance to the dirty laundryroom and that went on for at least three days straight with filthy trashcans placed to collect the ocean. There is a wonderfully sweet woman who is responsible for cleaning all twelve floors of this building plus the basement and she is just not able to do it all. This is evidenced by the fact that trash can remain in the hallyway for upwards of three weeks. Walls are exceptionally thin. One neighbor has a severe phlegm issue and I am privy to each hacking noise. He also receives a phone call everything weekday at 6:30am. I use it as my back up alarm. The maintenance people are nice and well mannered (unless they pee in your apartment during a service call) but they have no idea what they are doing. Repairs take multiple requests before they are completed and when they are finally tended too, it is on the cheap. They must get rewarded monthly according to who utilizes the least amount of funds to execute repairs. The desk people are nice but clearly accomplish nothing seeing there were a rash of apartment thefts a short while back. If you rank cleanliness of common areas and safety high on your list, then this isn't the place for you.
