I have lived at the Colonade for almost 5 years. This USED to be a decent place to live. If it weren't for the LOUD kids, Dirty elevators, and HORRIBLE SMELLS-it would be a FAIR place to live. My latest GRIEVANCE is my new roommates. I signed a NEW lease for a larger apartment. I wasn't aware that I would be sharing the apartment with cockroaches. I guess I wouldn't mind so much if they were on the LEASE, but I entered this new contract under the assumption that I would be living alone. I say put the bastards on the lease and we can split the OVER PRICED rent. Why should I have to pay for their LUXURY accommendations'
Needless to say, I have contacted the manager several times...they have "addressed the problem" several times. So now the baby cockroaches I used to see are full grown. I am sick of this crap! Roaches are disgusting and I NEVER saw a single INSECT in my old apartment (in the Colonade for the 4 yrs I lived there). The people around us MUST be slobs, and the management is incapable of properly ensuring that these vermin are removed-PERMANENTLY. Oh yea...the repairs I've been requesting since Oct are unfulfilled or have broken again---The short version---DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
