Depends which building you are in.

I lived in the Manor building for one year. Our apartment was a very spacious 3 bedroom/2 bath appartment. We had to deal with the elevators frequently being out, the constant smell of chinese food from the restaurant down stairs the limited parking when getting home late in the evening, and the occasional roaches(despite keeping the place immaculate). I had friends in the E building, and visiting them was always a treat, they had central air, and many of the amenities we lacked. Plus no chinese food smell or local wildlife(bugs). I would say living in that building might be the better choice.

The E building is not better living than the Manor building. There are year-round problems with the heat, hot water and A/C. The hallways are dark and dirty and yes, there is the smell of chinese food and some local wildlife (bugs). Residents of the E building also get the pleasure of having ignorant, inconsiderate college students for neighbors. There is nothing better than seeing empty beer bottles and cans, trash, vomit and used feminine products in the hallways and trash room courtesy of those wonderful students!
