It really isn't that bad. I have no idea what people are complaining about, I guess things are a ton different in the Manor apartments than the Estate building. I've never really had a huge problem except last year when the whole a/c system went kaput. But now it's back to full operation and this summer has been mild and it's been a comfy transition from heat to cool. Except for some ambient piano music that I hear occasionaly in my apartment (The player is very good too!), there isn't any real noise problem. The thing is that the property is located right next to Old York Road so all that traffic generates a ton of noise although at night it's very quiet. Most of the staff is extremely friendly, including the maintenance people. The apartment building is very rustic but in a good way. It's been around for a while and is built very strongly. But the real awesome thing is where this place is located. It's right along old york road and township line road which can take you west to glenside and east to north philly and elkins park. Plus it's about a 3 block walk from the Jenkintown train station, which is a major hub for Septa rail transit. Also the Route 55 and 77 buses are just a step outside the door. It's incredibly convenient!

the person who wrote this either works for the colonade or is on crack. take a walk around a little and open your eyes. have you noticed the sinkholes in the parking lot? the mold growing everywhere you look? i like the plug for the convenient walk to the train station..."a major hub for Septa rail transit"...are you a robot? wierd.

Like I wrote to another ANONYMOUS writer, you probally got paid to say that or you work there or you are blind. I only lived there for 9months b/c of school. If I had family up there I would have stayed with them. I was so HAPPY when I moved out and said to myself, "I rather live in a Hotel before I come back here". I feel sorry for those who endured it for a year and more.
