I have lived at the Manor building for two months with no major problems. Sure, there are occassional issues with the elevators, but maintenance has come quickly when ever I has called.

What some folks may not fully grasp, is that there are something like 500 units in the 2 buildings, so if only 5% of them have an issue on any given day, that still 25 pissed off people.

I like living there.

I have lived at the Colonade for more than two months. The issues that people are posting have been going on for several years. The A/C in the Estate building was down all day twice this week - the hottest week of the summer no less. That happens every summer. The same thing happens with the heat in the winter. No comment about the parking because it has been a nightmare since day 1. I'm just waiting for the parking deck to collapse. Yes, there are only a few maintenance men to service two large buildings; however, they still need to FIX things CORRECTLY when they do show up. If you are calling maintenance to repeatedly fix the SAME things all the time, the issue is not being short handed, this issue is that the maintenance people don't know what they are doing. The property manager and the maintenance manager should make sure that every one on the maintenance staff is properly trained. The guy that dumps the trash isn't necessarily trained to replace rusted pipes in your sink! BTW...you must have moved into the Manor building after full power was restored. The building was being powered by a generator for a few weeks. Let's see how you feel in a few more months!
