Barbara, the leasing manager was a rude bully. I made an appointment to view the apartments. When I arrived, she was also showing the apartment to another couple who was looking for the same thing as I was. So, I felt an uncomfortable sense of competition.

Barbara first showed us two apartments on the second floor. I thought to myself perfect, TWO great apartments. But when we asked her if the apartments were available, she burst out saying ?I have no idea! Look at these walls, they need to be painted and the floors need to be finished before ANYONE moves in. This apartment WILL NOT be available in YOUR time frame.? The other couple and myself were left thinking, ?then why are you showing this to us' You know we both need to find an apartment in the next week.? The couple proceeded to say ?This apartment is beautiful, we would not mind moving in the way it is, it looks great to us, we are just concerned with the time frame.? Again, she burst out saying ?No, we will not let anyone move in until we redo the apartments?. Not very accommodating.

Next the other couple and myself walked out of one of their buildings to go see another apartment, that probably wasn?t available either. We stepped out the door waiting for Barbara to lock up the apartments we justed viewed. When she came out we were all waiting for her at the door, she said ?shoo shoo shoo.? Personally, I have never been ?shooshed? like a dog before.

Lastly, we all went down to her office to inquire if the apartments were indeed available. I needed to leave to be able to make it to another appointment so I asked her for an application. She did not have one to give.

She was the most disorganized rude business person I may have ever come in contact with. I believe she was such a bully because she did not know her information.

Yes, the apartments were beautiful, but she was such a negative reflection on the facilities. I was scared out of living there.

Beware of Barbara

Just to let you know. Barbara is long gone and has been replaced with Diane, who is the polar opposite of Barbara. She's kind, informative and very easy going. If Barbara was your only concern, please note that problem has been solved.
