I moved to Jericho Manor about 3 years ago. When my sons left home, I decided to downsize and simplify, and I wanted an apartment that was a nice, easy place to live. Life at Jericho is quiet, friendly and green. The intergenerational mix of residents is refreshing.

In my suburban home, I had hardwood floors, double hung windows, ample closets and ceramic-tile baths. I also had a large yard with gardens that I could enjoy from various windows. I have all of that here -- and more. The "and more" for me includes no longer having to shovel snow, spend weekends making repairs, or feeling overwhelmed by maintaining a large greenspace.

My cozy apt. gets the morning sun; and my view encompasses a wooded area with many mature trees and bushes. Watching the seasons change at Jericho is a delight. The landscaping crew and the residents both take pride in beautifying the grounds.

The maintenance people are friendly, helpful and promptly attend to any problems. The complex is conveniently located, too. It's within walking distance of: a SEPTA station, a Wawa, a Starbucks, a B&N, a Trader Joes, and a regional library --yet it is far enough from Old York Road that it is in a quiet residential area.

I am settled in here at Jericho and am planning to stay a long time.

I am looking for an apartment for my Mom, who is 73 yrs of age. I want her to be somewhere quiet, safe and with easy access to supermarket, post office, etc. I live in Abington and so am looking for something close to me as well! Your review has given me one more option!!
