I was thrilled to move into Jericho Manor Apartments 35 years ago because it was situated in an exquisite and lovely wooded area in Abington Township. I lived in a one-bedroom apartment and it was very charming, quiet and affordable at the time. I faced the beautiful grounds of the Abington Senior High School and when I looked through my windows in the back area, I enjoyed watching the birds, squirrels and noticed the beautiful, tall trees and all kinds of beautiful shrubs that enhanced Jericho Manor Apartments. Many times, I so enjoyed walking on the trails and could see many tenants created their own rock and flower gardens. There were also patios in different areas that the tenants could sit out and enjoyed reading.
If you did not want to use your car, you could walk to the Abington Free Library, The Abington and Police Departments and if you needed emergency attention all you would have to do is call 911 and you were safe. Also, Jericho Manor has a very friendly lady who drove the bus for anyone who wanted to go shopping to the malls or the food stores. We also have a lovely, large laundry room with a large commercial washer and other washers and dryers with the latest technical features and is open from 7:a.m. to 10:00p.m. Jericho Manor is a well built and we have a wonderful Manager of Maintenance and a great crew who work hard to maintain the apartments. We also have a nice landscaper who takes care of our beautiful grounds. When it snows all the men work very hard to make it easy for the tenants to get to their cars so they can get to their jobs. We also have a wonderful and caring Leasing Manager who is available to help you to find an apartment or town house. All you have to do is call the Office.
I have been looking for a long time to find an apartment that has a little more space since I have a lot of hobbies. I love to sing, make cookies, soups and other foods as well as enjoy making wreaths and flower arrangements. About three years ago, I became a writer and a publisher of my book, The Power of Love. Soon, I will be leaving Jericho Manor and moving to another areas closer to my son and his family. I know I will miss my apartment and all my friends but I also know I will leave my hand and foot prints behind. I have reached out to many people in this community and have been instrumental in their life.
