1. Parking can be a total nightmare, make sure you give yourself time to park especially during specific hours. Also, break ins have occurred, people you've never seen are constantly walking in the area.
2. Noise. The walls are thin, the A.C. is LOOOOUUUUUDDDD (and it doesn't even work correctly and efficiently) The buses are rediculously loud especially if your windows are open. You can hear your neighbors tv or fights or conversations. Not always fun.
3. The landscapers come weekly however it doesn't mean the grounds are nice. There are no specific dog areas so they go wherever and kill the grass. If it happens to snow or be icy don't count on the sidewalks and paths or most importantly the doorfronts to the buildings being done.
4. Safety, ha for paying nearly $900-$1200 a month you'd think your place would be safe right' No, the entrances are not properly locked the doors don't even properly work. Anybody can walk in. There were break-ins in our buildings and a few unwanted visitors who woke me up on occasions. The management doesn't even warn you if they send maintenance or contractors over.
5. The apartments were recently completely renovated but most of the upgrades don't work properly. The air conditioning isn't efficient, the windows leak, even the windows in the main buildings leak that you see from the courtyard, one of my appliances broke within the first month, the utility bills are $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$!
6. Spencer the first maintenance man I had never did anything except stand around and talk to the residents all day. He would look at a leak or problem I had after reporting it and never did anything himself no matter what it was. Lazy! The newer guy George does work. I've had reoccurring problems however with things that should've been fixed the first right the first time. Frustrating.
7. The staff has been nice with every first phone call. When a week or even two has gone by and it's 98 degrees outside and your AC doesn't work and you call them back they have an attitude and don't do anything. Frustrating.
8. Overall, the building itself ie. the character is beautiful but if Lindy stopped hiring cheap contractors it could be a lot better. It's pretty bad when the new beautiful windows in the hallways leak when it rains.

The residents are also very clicky so prepare to be starred at and judged every time you walk outside. I've overheard a particular older gentlemen couple tell new people where to park and where not park because certain spots were "theirs" which is rediculous because it's public street parking.

I've heard people having perfect experiences here, I was not one of them and this review is far too nice for what I've gone through with Lindy. If you're easy going, don't care about things working, or being fixed right away, you shouldn't have a problem here.
