I have lived in the Garden Terrace Apartments for a number of years. Upon arriving here it was nice. However, new management took over, and started to allow bad people to move in. Things in the building began to go missing, the building is not being taken care of, washers/dryers/vending machines are left broken. Things are not neat and orderly like they once were. Tenants are of a different generation and do not have respect for the building or themselves.

They claim that they will fix your broken item in your apartment, but they don t. Sometimes, you are forced to live without such necessities as heat and air conditioning. It s nothing like it used to be, or nothing like portrayed in the commercials.

It s also best to keep to yourself, as all of the tenants gossip about one another behind their backs.

The apartments are nice inside, but small. You are allowed to have a pet weighing under 15 pounds, but if it s a cat, it must be declawed. Both cats and dogs must be fixed, and must have current vet papers. It costs $300 for a pet to live with you (security deposit for the pet).

There is not a lot of parking. Parking is limited to tenants. Visitors must park on the street or alley.
