I lived at Belmont Village for 2 years. What attracted me was a decent rent price. However, I quickly came to realize all of the downsides and, trust me, you get what you pay for.
Maintenance was slow to get to any problem. Though the maintenance worker was nice, he wasn't very efficient.
The free heat does not work most of the time. The hot water heater is goofy and you can get "surprised" in the morning with either freezing cold water or scalding hot.
The office staff is, without at doubt, AWFUL. They may be nice to your face but they are very unprofessional. ------, the office girl, gets frequent visits from a certain Upper Merion Police Officer. The office is rarely open, even during office hours.
When you have a problem that needs to be addressed with either ------ or ------, they are unpleasant, even rude.
We were excellent tenents, never paid the rent late and when we moved out they screwed us to the wall. They will do anythng in their power to keep your security deposit.
