The apartments smell like curry, probably because of the type of people this place attracts (read: unemployed). The hallways never get cleaned, management does not respond to issues (i.e. I called the Rental Office about a door being a locked door being propped open and I was told, "It's no big deal, just close it." When I asked how to verify that someone not living here came in and isn't standing in a hallway to kill me, I was reassured that wasn't the case. No help and no concern - kind of like they don't bother you if you pay your rent on time. That's all they care about. Not recommended.

That is a shame that you feel that way! We have no problems and the rental office is always helpful. Sounds like you have personal issues.

Sounds like he's not the only one that has experienced this problem... have you read the other reviews posted for The Lafashit at Valley of Whores?

Looks like a comment from a hater. You have to get used to living with "unemployed" if you are not well paid yourself to afford nicer apartments like Henderson square or Abrahum Runs.
