The staff is horrible

The leasing staff was very nice to me until I actually moved into the apartment. After I signed the papers, they did not want to see me ever again. Every time I went into the office to ask a question or request maintenance, the receptionist looked at me like I was annoying her. The other staff members are not any better.
When I first moved in, door to the garage I was renting kept opening on its own. I went to the office and tried to explain that someone's else's door opener must have the same code as mine. They wouldn't listen at all. THEN, I got a warning note on my car that my garage door had better be closed or there was going to be a fine. After the third trip to the office, they finally fixed the problem.
Oh, and don't have packages mailed to your apartment. You will have to wait until the night watch guy is finished chatting with the "girls" in the office before he will go get your package. If you imply that you're in a hurry, he just stares at you and says to go wait for him. I've seen elderly people in the complex wait for up to 20 minutes.
And the worst thing is that if you have to have something delivered or have to move in or out of the complex, the only weekend time when you can get the service elevator is on Saturday from noon to 5 PM. And that's only if the weekend leasing lady shows up on time. You can't have the elevator on Saturday morning or at all on Sunday.
They also entered my apartment while I was at work and made big holes in the ceiling. They said they were doing something with the cable. The holes stayed there for over two months. One hole was directly above the toilet.
And if you get locked out of your apartment, they charge you a $25 lockout fee. After I waited for an hour and a half for someone to show up to let me in. This is because they don't have a 24 security person. Which is unreasonable for what you're paying them.

The same EXACT thing happened to me, with the maintenance. I signed a lease that said they would give you 24 hours notice before entering my apartment. I came home to a hole above my shower head. They claimed to be fixing my plumbing when really they were fixing the apartment above me. I ended up contacting a lawyer and she was able to get the owners' attention. Nothing happened except for a horrible apology letter and an attitude for the rest of my stay. Ohh and it took them 3 months to fix my carpet that I complained about 6 times. 3 MONTHS
