This is the most ridiculous place to live. Please don't get stuck in the same mess as I did. Every month that I pay my rent I cringe because of how nasty everything is here.

When I moved in back in February of 05 no one told me that they would be going through renovations. So the 3 elevators that you see (yeah good luck getting one to work). After a month of moving here and being on the 14th floor they started working on fixing the elevators. Only one would work for several days. Try catching an elevator at 7Am and walking a quarter of a mile to get to your car. It takes on average 20 minutes everyday!

On numerous occasions I needed to talk to someone in the office about a problem or a concern. If you aren't able to come in on the weekday then there will be no hope of getting an answer from their weekend crew. They would always tell me "you'll have to come back on Monday to find that out".

I live next to people that smoke and every day I have to deal with the smoke entering my home. Not to mention the 6 fires that occured while living here. Ohh and the shooting that happened on my floor. I can't count how many times that I've had to walk down 14 flights of stairs just to return to safety. Thank god I don't have kids, I don't know what I would do trying to get them to walk that much.

The maintenance comes in to your apartment as if it was a hotel. Completely unannounced and they NEVER clean up after themselves. That's actually the only way that I know they have been there when I wasn't home. By the way if they do this to YOU it is Illegal and they know this now.

The rent is outrageous $1400.00 a month and they always send letters and notices saying "the lobby is brand new and you are not allowed to bring boxes, groceries, packages, or carts through the main lobby. You will have to use the back doors for anything such as this". This is insane!

Ohh and keep your teenage daughters away from the night security guard. He looks at there breasts and talks about what things he would like to do to them and you.

I seriously go to bed crying because of this mistake I made moving in here. Now that they know how mad I am they have taken it upon themselves to make my last weeks here hell!

Just in case you were wondering about the bills... electric is around $125-$150 each month.

It is now May and I just received my deposit, which is $25.00 out of $1420.00. They said that I had a cat and they needed to get the smell out so they replaced the carpets. When really it had an odor when I moved in and I just thought it was the old building. They are the ones that tore up my carpet when there was water damage and I swear they just figured they would use an excuse like this to replace the whole thing. I am fighting this and I still say "These people are crooks and they will do anything to lie and cheat their way to ALL of your money".

I lived here also a couple of years ago and I know what you mean. I feel very very bad for you and I wish you a lot of luck once you move out! I could not wait for our lease to be up also. We ran out of that place! That office has NO IDEA how to run a business at all. I moved to Camden Valleybrook in Chadds Ford (Which used to be Summit Valleybrook) after that -------- complex (Valley Forge Towers) and we been very happy at our new place ever since!! Valley Forge Towers is a real HELL HOLE!! I hated when they came into our apartment to when we were not home also. We would notice that our things were touched and everything, like someone was looking threw our stuff! Plus all the break-ins they have there!! And if you want proof on the break-ins, call the Upper Merion Twp. Police Dept and ask them, They should be able to tell you about all the Drugs, break-ins, etc etc etc!!! I would not even pay $200.00 a month for this place! I learned from my mistakes and I hope everyone takes our advice!! Look elsewhere!!

Not a helpful review, Obviously you are just p***d off about something and are using this as your way to get back. Wish people would write more objective reviews, if all I had to go on was this kind of c*** I would never get an apartment.

This complex is owned and operated by the Galman Group. If you look at the reviews for the Galman Group rentals you will find a trend that they do not return or return only a small portion of your security deposit. One other review states a professional couple, no kids no pets, expected their $900 sec. dep. returned. They received $22.
