This is a great place to live in Kutztown. While most apartments here are above local shops and stores, this is a nice 6 building apartment complex right down the street from the college. The great thing is, there are no college students here because they don't qualify under the application guidelines. This is a great place for seniors (I'm 63) and an easy town to get around. The rent is very resonable and the manager does a good job here.

I think it's slightly asinine that people assume college students are loud and roudy. If you have a problem with college students and you're 63 move out of Kutztown and go to florida. If I were to not qualify for an application for this appartment simply because I am a college student, then these appartments can't be all that great. I am a manager at my job, and make good money. I am also very clean (having OCD) and make enough money to pay rent on time. If those two things dont matter when it comes to an appartment, thats just silly nonsense.

Once you graduate from college, you will realize how much you do not want to live in an apartment complex where there are parties going on 24/7. I lived in the Kutztown area my whole life, and graduated from there 2 years ago. I am 24, and I want nothing to do with living in an area where there are noisy and disrespectful people. I have to be up a 5 M-Sat to go to work because I have a career now. I can't stay out and party all night any more. Kutztown was a nice quiet community to grow up in. The college is nice, but students are becoming unruly and a lot of them destroy property. The reason that the landlord probably does not want student in the building is because #1, they will be noisy and #2, some will destroy property.
I have 2 cats and I am having a hard time finding a new apartment that accepts cats. My cats are spayed and declawed, and I keep my apartment very clean because I cannot stand cat litter or animal smell.
Grow up and realize that this is the real world. You are not going to be accepted at every apartment complex. It does not matter who you are. Apartment complexes have standards for a reason.
And, if I might add, you show no sign of respect or responsibility especially for you "If you have a problem with college students and you're 63 move out of Kutztown and go to Florida" comment. So stop throwing a hissy fit.
