Noise Annoys

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2008
I lived here for 2 years between 2005 and 2008. Things were ok for a while, but despite the recent changes in management and marketing, this apartment complex is on a steady decline. I personally found the maintenance staff friendly and helpful; the office staff however leaves much to be desired. It was next to impossible to get a hold of anyone at the office via phone and messages were never returned promptly if at all. Questions concerning rent or lease renewal didn t seem to be a priority to the office staff, and I had a hard time getting any solid answers out of them.
Perhaps the worst part of my experiences here was the noise. The wall between my apartment and the neighbors was extremely thin. On any given day I would hear screaming, crying, and the slamming of doors. The local children were fond of destructive games and on more than one occasion had caused damage to both rental and personal property. The management was unable to stop violations to their own policies regarding parking, pet waste removal, and even occupation limitations.
All this said the space of the apartment isn t bad for the monthly fee if you can tolerate the many annoyances.
