I've lived in Bentley Ridge for 8 months and haven't had one single problem. Yes, the rent is higher than other communities in the area, but the apartments are in great condition and are very spacious. You absolutely get what you pay for. We've had a few minor problems with uncontrollable things: the air conditioning unit drain and garbage disposal, but maintenance fixed each problem the same day we called. Sometimes parking is an issue if you come home late at night (after everyone else in your building is home), but there's always a spot within the same parking lot, even if it's not directly in front of your building. My only qualm with parking is the lack of lighting in the parking lots. I've never felt unsafe, I just wish I could actually see the grocery bags slipping out of my hands as I'm struggling up to the building! I love the fact that there is no additional pet rent per month and there's plenty of grassy areas to let the dog run and play all he needs to.
