Well, now we all know why we had a raise in our rent; varying anywhere up to $20.00, we got new windows. Well, let me tell you how they arrived. A tractor trailer came in with numerous vehicles, with 14 men aboard, that I counted, from New York. They arrived earlier than I was told; before I was to go out of town. I watched in disbelief as I witnessed a guy take a hammer to a window shattering it. Luckily, I had a friend stay in my apartment for the time it took them to do my windows; because throughout the 4 hours he was in there, there were a total of 9 different strangers in my apartment scattered in my living room, dining room and bedroom. What a mess I had come home to, broken glass all over my sills and carpet, even in my bathroom which must had been carried in on their shoes. Their were little plastic bags, all size screws just thrown everywhere. They messed up my windows, cracked my sills, left the glass lay outside my windows; it was even on the sidewalk and in the hallways. I heard from numerous people that they called and said something to the management, so that they would not be held liable when they move and she could care less. Another lady in another apartment building said she called to tell them how they left her apartment and the management hung up on her. When we get ready to vacate an apartment, they hang a letter on our doors, telling us any damage done to our apartment, they will charge so much per foot and so forth. If you are really considering moving here, you better reconsider; because this lady does not care about anybody no matter what the situation is. I have witnessed some pretty serious situations here, I wish I could go into this farther, but I think I got my point across.
