You may be reading these reviews and thinking, "Can it really be THAT bad'" The answer is yes, yes it can. Luckily, maintenance has not been too big of a problem in the apt I live in, as the only mechanical problem has been with a dryer that stopped working and needed replaced. However, it still took them about 2 weeks to get a new dryer into the apt. We were fortunate...we were told it could take 8-12 weeks to get one in. WHERE THE HELL DO THEY THINK THEY ARE IMPORTING THE DRYERS FROM'' The common entrance areas are filthy, there are several lights out in the stairwells (Hmm, can we say "lawsuit waiting to happen'"), and customer service is nonexistent. Their idea of snow and ice removal is waiting for it to melt. Communication with management needs to be repeated and forceful if you want results. Dangling tree limbs try to claw the paint off your car, which is already suffering from the repeated abuse of the potholes and speedbumps. The locks on the door consist of a loose deadbolt and a chain. The people upstairs stomp, run, and chuck heavy objects around frequently. Our next door neighbors' bass is a constant soundtrack to our lives. These are the same people that hold wrestling matches and parties outside our door. When the soundproofing is so poor you can hear someone chewing gum outside your door, imagine the noise level 7-10 high schoolers make every day. In conclusion, if you are a masochistic person, please move here! Otherwise, you'd be better off living in a van down by the river.
