Good points: The size of the apartments were bigger then I expected with lots of closets and storage space, and the price is fairly low to others in the city. I do think for the price, you get what you pay for, but I would not live there again because of the issues that I had.

BAD: First, the apartment was swarming with bugs, during the first week alone I killed several each day, I bought tons of chemicals and bug sprays and traps and did eventually get the situation somewhat under control. When I first moved in the kitchen was very dirty and needed a thorough cleaning. The cabinets and appliances are not the best quality, and pretty old fashioned. The front window was not installed properly and everytime it rained tons of water got in and I could not keep any furniture in front of it because it would get wet and ruin it. And I reported this problem, but it was never adequately fixed. The apartments are not insulated very well, I could hear everything that the neighbor above and aside of me did, it sounded like someone tap dancing around upstairs and everytime the neighbor would cook anything the smell would carry down, and I don't know what she was cooking, but it was unplesant. Some college kids stay there, and there were occasional loud parties, and things of that nature going on. There is lots of parking, but it can sometimes be a pain to get one right in front of your building and you will have to walk a bit. The washers and dryers were a little expensive, and it can get crowded in the laundry room during the weekend. If you are looking for something inexpensive, and don't mind bugs, smells, noise... go for it, otherwise, try someplace else.
