...looks are deceiving. The property is in an area with a crime problem. Vandalism, break ins, car thefts (including my own stolen on site), robberies at local businesses, drug activity, you name it. The units do have a look of "luxury," with good appliances, cabinetry and fixtures, but maintainence is a problem. My unit (which was only three years old) had a leaking roof that was never fixed, faucets that dripped constantly, a window that wouldn't stay open, a broken thermostat for the A/C and heat... The unit was dirty at move in: carpets and floors weren't clean, cupboards with food debris, filth under the stove and behind the fridge, even the bathrooms were not thoughly cleaned. Parking is bad. No assigned spaces. If I didn't return until after 9PM, I couldn't park near my unit. Problems with tenants not cleaning up after their kids and dogs. Surrounding area is noisy, industry is nearby.

I would have to disagree with the above post and I am somewhat bothered by it. I have lived here for 1 year and had NO problem with vandalism, break-ins etc. Just because businesses sometimes get robbed,which might I add occurs ALL around the world, does not make this neighborhood or its surrounding areas dangerous. Infact, I have walked, by myself, at night throughout the neighboorhood and never once felt scared. Whenever I have had a maintenance issue, it was taken care of immediately, with-in 24 hours or less. Oh and I will add that if this persons thermostat was broken, wouldn't he/she have frozen in the winter or had a heat stroke in the summer? I'm sure this person just didn't get the concept of how to properly adjust a SIMPLE, EASY-TO-USE thermostat.

I'm the author of the original review and I stand by it. Yes, the thermostat was broke--i.e., switch the heat pump from "off" into "cool" and the heat pump would go into HEAT mode. Jiggling the mode switch a few times got it to work correctly.. And, how about addressing the theft of my car, or the slashing of my neighbor's tires? How about the arrest that was made in the late summer of 06 of an individual on Lotus Circle who was accused of breaking into homes along Greenfield Road while their owners were sleeping? Oh, and vandalism does NOT occur everywhere. Maybe it has where the respondant above has lived, but this was a first for me. Perhaps the respondant has an agenda. I'm just saying what experiences were like here. Take it or leave it.
