If your ultimate goal in seeking an apartment rental is to endure excessive punishment then you have realized it in sweetbriar apartments.In the many years we have rented it has been our worst experience.

Our hallway is nightly bathed in cigarette smoke. If we open the hall windows they are promptly closed by the complainer who turns out to be the smoker. The door to our apartment-and also that of the smoker- is far from sealed so our nightly procedure is to get on our knees and stuff all the cracks with newspaper. Promises to fix the door are broken by management. My wife whose parents have a history of lung problems has twice been bed-ridden due to this unhealthy situation.

Moving from another state, we rented the apartment sight unseen -a grievous error-
based on the advertised measurements on the internet, brochure and telephone calls.
Their 1 bedroom is advertised as 728 sq. feet. Not so. We carefully measured the apartment. It measures only 611 sq. feet-perhaps only 599 if you eliminate a dead space protrusion in the living room. Unfortunately we came with the mover and had no options. Those who cook will find the kitchen space particularly cramped making cooking difficult.

We have endured other problems from our first day here; to list them would seem an overkill. Bottom line is that ours has not been a happy tenancy and and we would not recommend Sweetbriar to anyone.
