I have lived in Lancaster Green from May 2004 until just recently. It was my first apartment out of the house and the worst experience ever. The noise was horrible, all nite i would hear cars and the music. Then i would wake up in the morning to my neighbors next to me fighting...and another couple arguing in the hallway. As far as parking that was even worse. There was never any parking because ever neighbors always had their friends over. I got so tired of it i made my own space right infront of someone back porch facing the parking lot. Another bad thing about Lancaster Green is the crime, the cops are there everyday and im not exaggerating. My car was one of the many cars that got broken into. Not to mention there were people across the street robbed at gun point. As a single female living bymyself some nites I was scared to go to sleep. It was not the type of environment I wanted to live in.
About a month after i moved in there we had a big rain storm...water came in from under my sliding glass door making my carpet in my apartment went...i reported this to maintence as an emergency and never heard from them. 2 weeks later i walked up to the leasing office and told them that i called it in and no one ever came out to look at it. They ended up having to take drywall from all around my living room and took it to be tested ( so they say), after being told that the plastic would be off my walls and the drywall would be fixed in a week i waited very patiently, after a month there was the plastic still all over my living room not to mention there was only brick behind it. I was just fed up. I was also promised a new vanity for my bathroom before i even moved in which i never recieved. There was also mold growing on the floor around my bathroom toilet among other things i won't keep going on. I do not blame the maintence for this problem, i blame management. If these apartments were up to date and kept well, there would be no problems. I can understand why maintence takes so long condsidering all the complaints from other tenants. If you would like to email feel free. But overall i would not reccomend Lancaster Green for anyone to live, UNLESS you really don't care about your living conditions.
