Some problems, but improving . . .

The newly renovated kitchen is gorgeous! Beautiful cabinets. They, unfortunately, did not put in new appliances. When we moved in one of the burners didn't work, the refrigerator had damage inside and the dishwasher (which works well) is obviously used. It took three to four months before they fixed the refrigerator and the burner. And now, yes, that's great!

They failed to renovate the closet doors, front door or bathrooms --which really need some work. Although, the carpet was new for the tenant before us. There's a few stains, nonetheless, in which have never been addressed by the management (although we've complained several times). Closet doors are old and stick terribly, broken knobs were never replaced (despite several complaints to the management).

The shower floor (fiberglass) is peeling and retains water (causing a stagnant water odor) -- has never been replaced (it needs it) -- nor dealt with. Maintainence claims they "fixed" it; although, they've never done a thing to it! (Only looked at it and said, yes, it's damaged; and told management they fixed the problem).

The new management is good, however -- and have been working to improve situations. Although, they seem very annoyed when we ask for new closet doors and knobs; apparently, figuring we can live with old sticking doors -- as long as they close (with effort). I feel they have no intention of renovating or replacing that which is still working somewhat...

Personally, we also feel they need to make the parking lots more secure -- by making sure residents get first choice and ticketing violators. They ask for our car plate numbers when renting and should, from time to time, check to make sure certain spots our open to those living there. There have been times, particularly weekends, when there's no space open for residents because people have guests over for a party, etc.

Thus, there should be, at least, one numbered spot for each and every apartment; and violators in those spots would be towed, fined etc. if the resident complained.
