One positive thing I have to say about LG is that the maintenance staff is on top of things when you have an emergency -- late at night, weekends, whenever. Now for the rest of living at LG. One thing that's really bad is that they allowed a home healthcare company to rent apartments in this development so across the hall from me there are 2 apartments that house holder mentally challenged tenants. They sit outside on the patio all day and bother me and my guests whenever we walk by. Sometimes they hang out in the hallway. One night the police woke us up at 3am because one of them was missing. It's a big disruption to anyone living here and my friends don't even want to visit. Another family in my hallway allows their children to just run up and down the halls screaming every night and they refuse to discipline them. The kids even try to get into my apartment sometimes. The hallways are always dirty and the locks on the outside doors are always broken and someone is always breaking the washer and dryer that we have to pay $1.50 to wash and $1.50 to dry our clothes in. One good thing is the size of the rooms. I have a 2 bedroom and the master bedroom and living room are a nice size. The bathrooms are very old and ugly and get moldy. The dishwasher is ancient and doesn't work. The person who had the apt before me must have hung a border because you can still see the outline because paint is sticking out from the wall. The rent is pretty high to have so many disturbances and no new appliances or anything. I'm having a hard time finding a new place because I have to give 2 months notice to move and most places are available within a month. When I moved in only one phone jack worked and the phone company said re-wiring was needed. The maintenance dpt came and fooled with some wires and got most of the jacks to work but 2 still don't and they don't care. Sorry to be so harsh but living here just isn't fun. Be ready for lots of little kids everywhere screaming and lots of loud music from young tenants.
