I read apartment reviews all the time and am skeptical about how true they really are... well take my word for it, all these bad reviews ARE true! I lived in Lancaster Green for a short time and it was a NIGHTMARE. Gunshots were fired at the next apartment building over. I did NOT feel safe living there. The light in our hallway was out, and I asked maintenance to repair it SEVERAL times because at night it was pitch black and scary, especially for a young girl by herself (like me!) The whole apartment complex just is not safe; there are no locks on the doors to the buildings. Also, I would have to sleep at a friends' house some weekend nights because the music was so incredibly loud. Oh, and the management' FORGET IT. The girls in the office were very unprofessional when a problem with the apartment arose, and I honestly felt like I was interacting with catty 16-year-olds. There was always trash in the parking lot and in the hallway. There were maintenance problems CONSTANTLY... the toilet didn't flush right, our balcony door was always broken no matter what, some of the closet doors were broken, and overall the apartment was just poorly constructed. The day we were supposed to move in, they called 2 HOURS before the move-in time and asked if we could postpone it while they installed new carpeting. UM...NO! Our cars were already loaded... it was ridiculous! So we had to semi- move in and then wait for the carpet people to come about a week later. Not to mention that we lost power and had no water several times. There was always some sort of an inconvenience. But that's not even the worst of it--- there were june bugs EVERYWHERE, all over the sides of the buildings, and they somehow were getting in my bedroom window and infested my ENTIRE room. When I went to maintenance several times about it, they told me to spray them with sugar water, and that there was nothing they could do about it. There had to be a hundred small bugs in my room, not to mention the gigantic "mother" bugs that came with them. It was disgusting; I ended up having to vacuum them all out of the window. I hope I've provided enough evidence that this apartment complex is NOT a good place to live. There are plenty of other places in the area that are much less of a hassle, safer, and nicer. Don't waste your time or money here.
