This complex has to be the single most disgusting place in lancaster. Even at $610 for a one bedroom, it's not worth 1/2 that. I've lived there for a little under a year and already there have been 3 power outages, 3 water outages and GUN SHOTS right next to my building. Good luck walking in or out at night. It's poorly lit. AS for ordering takeout, expect some phonecalls because you can't even see the building numbers.
When i moved in, i was told that everything was in great shape and the "kitchens have just been remodeled". NOT SO! the kitchen had new veneer on the counters, and i'm doubtful as to how "new" that was. The appliances are left over from the cold war and the floor had stains all over it. Then the rug. The rug had new padding under 1/2 the floor, so when you walk through you trip over the lump. Then, slowly over the course of about a month stains just LEAPT out of the carpet. I don't wear shoes in my apartment (they're the institutional white/beige carpet) so i know it's not me. I keep cleaning them and they keep coming back. Half the baseboard heaters don't work. I asked them to fix the lock on my door and they made it worse. The peep holes are scratched to ---- so you can't even see. There are no locks on the outer doors to the building either. If you ask them to do anything you get attitude like it's YOUR fault they have a crappy apartment. EVERYTHING is painted. It's like when they redo the place they just roll over everything. I took the cover off the thermostat (which is from 1960) AND IT WAS PAINTED OVER!!! My clothes have white flakes from the closet bars being painted and there's paint all over the tub. It repeatedly comes off on my soap, it's gross. There's mold all over the windows, not to mention they leak like screens. They let in cold, water, wind and the damn screens are held in with SCREWS!!!! Just wedged in there. Don't believe anything they tell you when you see the "model" apartment. The real ones look NOTHING like that. I'm moving out as soon as the lease is up because i'm not giving them another dime of my money that i don't have to. i'm not holding out any hope for my security deposit either. These people are slum lords to be sure.
