Finally was able to leave!! Yes, its that bad!

I lived in Town and Country aka Wheatland Hills for over two years. Space will not allow the amount of difficulties my wife and I had while living there.
Water is shut off for the entire day almost once a week. Leaks appeared on numerous occasions - one was found patched with electrical tape!!
A hot water faucet in the bathroom exploded off the sink and the hot water damaged tons of stuff as the maintenance men trekked in mud and used our white towels to mop it up.
There was a fire that completely destroyed the apartments in our building, caused by careless maintenance workers.
Construction and remodeling was ongoing the entire two years of our stay making it noisy and dangerous with trucks and obstacles placed all over the steps in the hallways and in the parking lots.
A lady who lived in our building was shot, another lady was run over by a car and killed just recently at Wheatland Hills. It is dangerous!!!
The laundry room is a nightmare, the washers and dryers are always broken and the Wheatland Hills staff refuses to help. We wasted rolls and rolls of quarters on the machines with no one to turn to for help. We called the number on the machine but no one ever came to fix them.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. STAY AWAY!!!

This person clearly does not know their facts. Water is not shut off 1x per week. A girl was in a car accident here where she died, not because it is an unsafe place, it was purely an accident. For 1 bad thing to happen here in over 10 years is fantastic. The small fire which didnt damage any occupied apartment was caused by sparking drywall, done by the contractors. No one was shot here. I am sure this resident was someone who was a problem to deal with & didnt pay rent on time. That seems to be the trend with these bad reviews.
