When I first moved here two years ago, it seemed like a very nice, clean place. There were certain rules that were followed such as noise ordinances, yard upkeep, no dogs over 35 lbs., etc. Basically, those rules are out the window now. I had neighbors who had loud parties and nothing was done. Children littered their toys and bikes all over the place. Every day I see dogs such as pit bulls, rottweilers, mastiffs, and other breeds which are well beyond 35 lbs.

I feel that the rent is too high for the quality of the apartments. The paint job is shoddy and a lot of the construction is subpar. We had lived here two years and the furnace has never been cleaned. They put in a 30-day air filter every 6 months (we bought our own because the air conditioning unit was freezing up). When the construction crews are remodeling an apartment, they are as noisy as possible. They shout and smash everything, and start as early as 7 a.m. Lighting is also an issue. Very few people keep their porch lights on, and it can get quite dark at night. It doesn't feel very safe to walk around.

The main benefit of the apartment complex is the location. It is extremely close to many places. I think it is fine for a first apartment, but I will definitely be moving when my lease is up. The complex was recently bought out by another company and I feel the quality will only drop more.
