I lived in the Wheatland Hills (formerly Town & Country) apartment complex for three winters, and this winter is the first time I did not see the area thoroughly plowed and sidewalks shoveled. Following the Valentine's Day snow storm, nobody plowed or shoveled anything. It was a disaster. They had an opportunity to plow and shovel, but they didn't, and the snow hardened. It was near impossible to dig your car out. Several people were unable to park and were forced to park in the middle of the streets.

We saw neighbors coming out with shovels, helping one another out, complaining all the while that this was the management's responsibility, and that no one had done a thing. Some residents said that they had called and complained and that they were told that they didn't want to plow because people would have to move their cars and that the plowing and shovelling was the residents' responsibility (even though our lease plainly states that it is the management's full responsibility). They finally started plowing somewhat, but it is still terrible. Strangely enough, the leasing office's parking lot is clean and dry. It seems they are only looking out for themselves.

This is just another example of how the management in this complex has changed. Many residents that day were saying that they were moving when their lease was up, and I fully agree.
