Wheatland hills is a terrible place to live. When my family and I moved in we were told how good of a community that this was and nothing could be further from the truth. Let me start by telling you that the police are always here 24 hours a day. There are people walking up and down the edge of the roads selling drugs. The building acrross from me I guess is the drug "spot". There are people fighting all the time. My wife and I came home just the other day and east hempfield police had a car pulled over in the neighborhood searching it. This is just the tip of the iceberg. these guys think changing their name hides the problems. Dont get me started on the neighborhood connected to wheatland hills. It used to be called meadow green now the name has changed, That place is even worse and the people from there come over here and start trouble and fight and carry guns. If u have kids dont move here, your poor children will be scared to death to go outside the little hoodlums that roam will beat them up and have them terrified. Their pet policy is a joke, there are pitbulls, rottweilers, dobermans, chows, and any other dog not allowed. Some of these dogs are mean, be fore warned if you have a little dog like we do dont bring it here. Maintenance is rediculous, it takes over a week to get a response for a leak then when they come they tell you there is nothing that they can do about it, you have to deal with it. If you even think of going to the office to make a complaint, you my as well forget it. My car got broken into and I caught the guy cause I called the police immediatly, and the thief was a resident here. When I took a copy of the police report that I had to pay for to the office to file a complaint the office manager michelle sotomyer told me well you live in an apartment what do you expect. When you talk to the cops they laugh and say oh yeah we are here all the time. I think this place might be section eight cause some of the people that live here shouldnt be able to afford this place. My wife and I make good money and this place is still expensive.

Some aspects of this review are not true. I am not part of the office but a renter. I have lived here for 2 years. True that the office can be hard to work with. But I do know that I have been helped several times when my rent is late. The folks at the office are firm but understandable. As for the grounds, York Estate Services keeps the lawns in this place pristine. They mow the grass Tue and Thurs. As for police, I still need to see a police officer on the grounds after the office closes. I have never noticed a police car in this development in 2 years. As for safety, no problem. I have great neighbors. Maintenance is a little slow, but gets the job done. However if you don??t or can??t pay your rent, your kicked out. Refer me developments were you can live for free and I??ll move there. Rent is a little expensive, but in 2 years, I really had no complaints.
