I have lived at Brookside Manor for a full 2 years. The rent is WAY TOO HIGH for what you get. The 1st apt I had was their deluxe 1 bedroom. Here is a short rundown for that experience. Kitchen: old and outdated, cabinets installed poorly-would jiggle when you opened one, all appliances looked so cheap, water pressure really low in sink. Living room/dining room: Patio blinds-cheap and would fall off the track, ceiling fan-old and outdated. Bathroom: terrible! No hot water for 2 weeks after moving in! Fan- loaded with dust and lint. Tub-looked like it was just repainted-had cracks in caulk. My apt was on Heather Court-parking here is 100 yards away! Had to carry everything down to the apt. Moving was so hard since you can't move a truck close to the apt door.
The next apt I had was an 'upgraded' 2 bedroom w/new kitchen. Not too bad but still shoddy installment of all cabinets and bathroom fixtures. Toilet is old. Tub was resurfaced. Tub hot water just dribbled out slowly.Bedroom closet doors fell off.
Maintenance-terrible! And rude too! Like they are doing you a favor by acknowledging a complaint in a timely manner! Leasing office- they adore you when u sign the lease,forget you when you are moved in, and are not nice when you give notice to vacate.
All in all- the pros are- can pay rent online- outside entrances- nice flowers in summer-large floorplans-central air-patio with large window.
Cons- VERY HIGH RENT-maintenance is slow and rude, landscapers are so loud at 7am-shoddy installation of cabinets and kitchen/bath fixtures. Trash on lawns never picked up-laundry facility smells so awful like mold (costs 1.75 for a load).
Bottom line: DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE MODEL THEY SHOW YOU! YOU WON"T GET THAT!

I absolutely agree. They are the worst apartment community ever! They need to be taken over by new management
