Where do I begin' when we moved in the Central Air quit almost immediately. The solution' We were told to buy fans!!! Roughly three to four months later, the Central Air unit was replaced, well into the winter months I might add. Bugs and Mice are next on the perks list for Brookside Manor. 20 mice and countless hundreds of ants later we are currently pest free. Parking is truly a bear. if you should have to leave ths house for anything after 5PM. the likelyhood of you getting a spot close to your home is nil. Now onto the best of the bunch, the office staff. The leasing consultants are great to work with. However the office manager and business manager have all the charm of rancid meat and curdled milk. They are never courteous and always very short in their responses. You do get the feeling that you are wasting their time with your questions. The poster who mentioned beetljuice was right! the comments about the cars driving through the parking lot at all hours with stereos blaring is dead on as well. it doesn't happen everyday but it is far more frequent than it should be. Overall, our stay was problematic at best and we cannot help but be glad to have put Brookside manor and all of it's troubles far behind us. By the way, the "brook" in Brookside manor is an often stagnated and stinking pool of mosquito infested water that runs throughout the property. If that's not a selling point I don't know what is.
