NOT worth the money!

Before my fiance and I moved in, the new kitchen & washer/dryer unit was supposed to be installed. We were willing to pay the fees for the upgrades and gave them 5 weeks to do so before our move-in date, which we were told would be no problem. Well, we moved in in April 2008 and did not get the kitchen until mid June. (We had to move in, we already signed the lease before the kitchen was to be installed.) The way they left our kitchen was unbelievable! (See photos)Not only did it appear unfinished, but the workers left hand prints all over my walls, grease on the carpet and my AC was put on 55 while we were at work! They were going to leave it unfinished, I had to call several times before someone was sent over to repaint, patch holes and clean the carpet. The heating/ AC bills are ridiculous, we kept our heat on 64 all winter and still paid over $120 some months. The couple below us moved out and just our luck, SIX adults moved into the one bedroom.. I'm sure you get what I'm saying. The smell was unbearable sometimes. They were going to raise our rent if we renewed, however were offering new tenants a discounted rate of $850! Needless to say, we moved. I would not recommend living at Brookside Manor.
