Executive House has changed management in the past two years that I have lived here. The new Management can be rude and fake at times.

The new management has a different view of how the place should be run and all the changes are not for the better.:
1)We had a sitting room in the entrance way and now they have turned that into an office.
2)They have not been having the community parties every month like they used to.
3)Recently they have decided to start charging for Water/Sewer. I have not started to pay it yet but I am not looking forward to paying it either. They say they are going to divide the payment by the size of your apartment and how many people who live in your apartment. I am not sure if that is legal though. Why should you have to pay when it is not exactly what you used'
4)The raised my rent by $85 from one year to the next.


Also the "state of the art" fitness center they say on the web-site is a joke. It is far from state of the art. Most of the machines are old and are falling apart. If you are interested in Fitness join a real gym.

There is no yard here although the YMCA is right behind the complex.

Maintenance is sometimes slow to respond due to management not giving request to the maintenance man.

Sometimes the hallways smell really bad from others apartments.

The rugs in my apartments are nice. The refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher and not that old and work well.

It is nice to not have to go outside to do laundry.

The heat is baseboard and is not very good. But I often do not have to use it. Sometime in the Winter I have to open the windows because it is so hot.

The air conditioning situation is awful. In my one bedroom apartment there is one air conditioner in the living room. The cool never reaches the bedroom. So, in the summer I sleep in the living room on those hot nights.

The water temperature is not the greatest either. When I am in the shower the temperature often switches to extremely hot to very cold.

There are also no lights in the living room ceiling so you have to bring all of your own.
